Our Cabin Rental Policies

BOOKING POLICIES

At the time of booking, we require a 50% deposit if it is more than 30 days prior to arrival date. At 30 days from arrival date, the final balance is due in full. If the reservation is less than 30 days from arrival, full payment is due. At least one guest must be over 21 years old.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of our business, we require a minimum of 30 days notice in order to give a full refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. If you must cancel your reservation within 30 days of arrival and we are able to re-rent the cabin, we will be happy to refund your deposit less the $50.00 fee. If we don’t re-rent the cabin, the deposit will not be refunded. No refunds will be given for early departure or bad weather.

NOISE POLICY

No house parties with outside guests permitted. We ask that after 10:00pm our guests refrain from loud or disturbing noise.

DOG POLICY

We allow dogs because we are dog lovers ourselves and can’t imagine a vacation without them but we do ask that your dog be housebroken and well-mannered. If your dog is a barker, we ask that you keep it inside as much as possible. If your dog is wet, we ask that you please do your best to dry them before letting them inside. If your dog is the shedding kind, please keep them off the beds and furniture. If your dog is going to be left alone, please notify us so we know they are there in case of an unlikely emergency. We want you and your dog to have a memorable stay with us so we ask that you follow these simple rules. Please understand the additional fee for dogs is necessary due to the extra cleaning and maintenance involved.

INTERNET POLICY

Our internet provider has limits on our internet service plans. We provide access free of charge to allow our guests to look up local attractions, check email and perform basic tasks. Use of streaming video (i.e. you tube) and/or heavy downloads will exhaust our bandwith resulting in this service being shut off by the provider and increased costs to the owners. This type of use shall be limited by guests; if your usage causes additional fees to the owners, these charges will be automatically billed to you.

DAMAGES POLICY

All guests are responsible for any damages to the premises during their stay. A credit card number will be kept on file until the property has been inspected after departure.

SMOKING POLICY

Please no smoking inside the cabins. Ashtrays are provided on the deck and the front porch. Evidence of smoking in the cabins will result in an automatic $100.00 charge.

CLEANING POLICY

We ask that you leave the cabin in a clean and tidy state. Please have all dishes washed or in the dishwasher. Please wash all towels. They can be left in the dryer. Leave all beds that have been slept in unmade so we know to change the linens. Make sure the gas grill and fireplace are turned off.

OUTDOOR POLICY

Please make sure the cover is on the hot tub and/or your outdoor fire is completely out before going to bed or leaving the property. Should your stay last longer than three (3) days, someone will be checking the hot tub for your continued enjoyment and safety. If you prefer to be there please let us know at check-in and you will be called first if we have to enter your cabin. Additional note: firewood is available on the property for $5 an armload.
